Sanchi Honnamma Student Scholarship

This scholarship began in the year 2003-2004 for meritorious girl students so as to encourage them to pursue higher education. This is specifically meant for girl students who have scored high marks in II year PUC. Every year the students availing the scholarship shall get an amount of Rs. 2000/-.

Sanchi Honnamma Scholarship  Eligibility 

Under this scheme, a scholarship of Rs.2000/- is provided to girl students of B.Sc, B.A and B.Com streams.

Scholarship Rate : Rs.2,000/- per year.
Number of Fresh Awards : 1000
Renewals : Depending upon the no. of applications received
Amount Sanctioned : Rs.70.00 lakhs (Plan)

How To Avail Sanchi Honnamma Scholarship?

To avail this scholarship, students should complete their course in one attempt and only those students will be given this scholarship till the completion of their Graduate Course

Other Scholarships

Kittur Rani Chennamma Puraskar:
Under this scheme the fee paid at CET cell is reimbursed to10girl students in every district,who are pursuing professional courses and possess BPL Card (New & Renewed)

Rajeev Gandhi Loan Scholarship:
Under this scheme, the interest subsidy on Loan availed by students with annual family income less than Rs.2.5 lakh is paid by the Government,limited to the study period of the students.

Anglo-Indian Scholarship:
Scholarships are offered to Anglo-Indian students pursuing education at Government and Aided Degree Colleges towards fee reimbursement.

Kannada/Sanskrit/English Language Scholarship at Degree level:
Scholarship Rs.500is offered as scholarship to meritorious students who are studying Kannada/Sanskrit/English as major subjects at Degree level.

Scholarship to SC/ST students and children of soldiers:
Scholarships are offered to SC/ST students and children of soldiers

Scholarship to victims/ victims’ children of HIV and Leprosy:
Under this scheme, a scholarship amount of Rs.21,800/-is provided to students who are the victims of HIV & Leprosy and to students whose parents (Living/Dead) are victims of HIV & Leprosy. Students infected from HIV/AIDS or Leprosy and students born to HIV/AIDS or Leprosy infected parents’ (dead or alive) children are eligible to get free education and scholarship.

Sir C.V. Raman Student Scholarship
This scholarship was launched in the year 2001-2002. This scholarship focused on encouraging students studying in science stream. It is meant for talented and meritorious students who are pursuing their education in basic sciences in government and private aided degree colleges.
